This Resource Book was prepared by Uks in collaboration with Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) and launched in June 2007. Media sensitization on HIV/ AIDS. Uks learnt throughout the span of this project that the lack of proper resources and data on HIV/AIDS was one of the major reasons for minimum coverage of this issue. For this purpose the media watch committee members together compiled a Media Resource Book. It was based on the information gathered during a three-year project on the issue of HIV/AIDS and the way mass media should provide coverage to the issue in a socially responsible manner rather than a sensationalist way.
